Expanding

I have decided to start expanding my horizons.

I just uploaded a new dress that was sewn and not crocheted. I liked the way it turned out. Please let me know what you think.

Every young girl loves a nice summer dress.

This lovely dress is made with a lovely dark blue background with pink hydrangea fabric. The dress is made in a children's size 6/8. The waist is shown with a nice 1 inch pink ribbon. A detached pink bow pin is attached. 1/2 inch pink ribbon borders the bottom of the skirt. The skirt measures 20 inches from the waistline to the bottom and is full.

Perfect for dress up or a nice time out.

Dress was only worn by model for purposes of taking photos.

Mystic Hooded Poncho-Custom Order

I recently designed and completed a custom Order for a hooded poncho.

Mystic Hooded Poncho measures 10 inches from neck base to the end of the poncho. The hood measure 27 inches around and 10 inch depth. The edging of the poncho is crocheted in a nice scallop.

Doodles

Every now and then an idea will just POP into my head. I try to doodle it down as best I can. (Lord knows I am not a very good drawer)

I have recently started doodling a few new buddies. I will be creating them this weekend. Next week I hope to post the doodle creations. lol!

I am working on a dragonfly, a frog, and snowmen patterns.

Those should be interesting and fun to create. I hope they turn out just as cute as the octopus buddies did. :)

Any ideas for a doodle I should try. Just let me know. :) I am all ears.

Custom Order

I love to do custom orders.
I always find it fun to work on a project that is meant for someone. lol!
I recently completed a set of 7 arm cozies for a custom order.

I wanted to share them on here.

I made 3 black pairs, 1 red, 1 camo, 1 purple, and 1 green. Each measure 8 inches around and 11 inches long. Each pair also include 1 inches ribbing at the base and a thumb hole.

I really enjoyed making these.

I am currently working on a few more custom orders. I will post them as well as I finish them.

Everyone needs a blast of sunshine. Even when it is cold.

This cute hat is crocheted with two strands of yellow and orange yarn. The hat measures 20 inches around and 7 1/2 inches. Sunshine hat also has ear flaps that measure 2 inches long and 3 inches wide. Two crocheted ties are attached both ear flaps. Each tie measures 20 inches long and has a yellow and orange pom-pom attached to the bottom. A yellow and orange pom-pom is also attached to the top of the hat.

This hat is great for anyone who LOVES color!

Thoughts and Ideas!

Well...I am currently busy in the mist of several custom orders, as well as keeping the store up date on Etsy and for craft shows.

It keeps my hands busy all the time.

I will be posting a few new items this week on Kaye's Kreations. A link will be posted here.

Funky hats, unique scarfs and fun toys are at the top of list of new items.

I attended First Friday again on August 1. It was a fun filled night. First Friday always is a blast. A few items found awesome owners and several business cards were handed out.

I am in the midst of redesigning my business cards. Pic of the new design will be posted so please feel free to let me know what you think...even if you hate it. Feedback is feedback. :) I was thinking something along these lines. >>>>
